I am a freelance Performance Director, fixing problems for SMEs, social enterprises and charities.

What I find is that Directors pull away from what they need to be doing, to deal with high-level problems. Usually something is being ‘blocked’ or not working properly and they have tried various internal solutions. Problems they can’t fix cause Directors to become frustrated or suffer stress. The problems remain, or come back and get worse.The performance of the business starts to dip and the organisation doesn’t achieve what it needs to.

Coming in from outside, I bring fresh ideas and expertise. I observe Directors, the way the Board operates and how Senior Management work, in order to work out what can change.I drive, direct and deliver solutions to problems, using coaching and mentoring techniques.

Businesses and projects get back on track and start delivering their objectives. Stress and frustration reduces, enabling Directors to get on with what they are supposed to be doing.

I have over 20 years' experience across a variety of medium sized businesses, charities and social enterprises. I deliver leadership coaching, business growth consultancy, and Board effectiveness programmes, and also in some instances part-time Managing Director or Operations Director roles within client businesses.

I'm passionate about working with business leaders to help them become the best they and their organisations can be.
